The Excelano Project is a spoken word poetry collective based at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

The word Excelano, in Latin, means "march forth," a phrase that signifies our commitment to progressive thinking and artistic expression through the medium of spoken word poetry. Naturally, we consider the day March 4th (or 3/4) to be Excelano day.
